MOSCOW, Feb 10 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Gazprom-Media Holding has denied media reports that it is preparing to acquire mobile operator MegaFon, the company said late on Thursday in a statement.
“The information that Gazprom-Media Holding is getting ready to buy MegaFon is not true,” the company said.
Business daily Kommersant reported earlier citing sources that state-controlled telecom operator Rostelecom was holding talks to acquire MegaFon from USM Group.
